Cookie Policy

This page lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage DSA Tracker uses. It belongs with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with the data itself.

1. What these are

A cookie is a small text file your browser keeps for a website. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) does the same job inside your browser and is not sent to our servers with every request. We use both. Most of what we set is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. The only optional item is analytics, and it stays off until you accept it.

2. Always on (strictly necessary)

These need no consent because the site cannot work without them.

  • suits_token: a sign-in cookie. HttpOnly (page scripts cannot read it), SameSite Lax, lasts 1 hour.
  • suits_refresh: renews your sign-in without asking for your password again. HttpOnly, SameSite Lax, lasts 30 days.
  • suits_guest: marks a guest session so the trial works without an account. HttpOnly, SameSite Lax, lasts 24 hours.
  • suits_cookie_consent and suits_cookie_consent_ts: stored in your browser (localStorage). They remember whether you accepted or declined analytics and when, so we do not ask on every visit. They stay until you clear your browser data.
  • Display and app preferences: stored in localStorage or sessionStorage, for example your theme, whether the sidebar is collapsed, your list view, your target role, and short-lived cached responses so pages load fast. They never leave your device.

3. Optional: analytics (only if you accept)

If you choose Accept all, we load Google Analytics 4 to count how many people use which pages. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by our measurement ID. Google states these last up to two years; check Google’s current documentation for the exact figure. If you choose Necessary only, the Google Analytics script is never loaded and none of these cookies are set. See Google’s cookie information.

4. Other companies’ cookies

  • Razorpay. When you buy Pro, Razorpay’s payment window opens. Razorpay may set its own cookies while it is open. That is covered by Razorpay’s privacy policy. The window only loads when you press a payment button.
  • Cloudflare. Cloudflare serves the site and may set technical cookies for security and abuse protection. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not show ads.

5. Change your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it. Use the button below, or the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer. If you withdraw after accepting, we delete the Google Analytics cookies and reload the page.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop sign-in from working.
